Every secondary school course is identified by a
five-character code as illustrated in the chart below.

The first three characters refer to the subject and
specific area: ENG is English. BTT is Introduction to Information Technology
in Business

The fourth character refers to the grade: 1 = Grade 9; 2
= Grade 10.

The fifth character refers to the type of course as
outlined above:
D = Academic; P = Applied; O = Open; U = University
Preparation;
M = University/College Preparation
